Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?
Hi friends! I am so happy and thrilled to be writing this post! I finally got to attend my first Dapper Day and it did not disappoint! I got to see so many lovely people step out in style for a day of fun at Magic Kingdom and I was so proud to be apart of it!
For those of you who may not know, Dapper Day is a day where people come together to show their appreciation for classic style and to strut their stuff. Since many Dapper Day's are held at Disney Parks, lots of people choose to put together dapper outfits that channel their favorite Disney character! That's exactly what I decided to do too!
For my first time attending, I knew I wanted to make it special and memorable so I went with the classic (and my favorite) princess-- SNOW WHITE!
I had a ball finding the perfect pieces and getting just the right styling for this get-up.

With any outfits I do, I always try to be as frugal as possible and reuse things I already have or get creative with where I source my pieces!
For this outfit, I reused a dress I had previously purchased from Unique Vintage to add the yellow I needed as the base for this Disney Bound. The 50s style swiss dots on this dress added such a sweet touch and was so flouncy and fun to walk around in!
For the other small, but crucial parts of this I went searching on Amazon. I can't say enough how much I love Amazon for its convenient Prime shipping and VAST options. My gloves, socks, bow belt and blue cardigan all came from Amazon and I spent less than $45 for all 4 pieces! It was so gratifying to me that I was able to find such quality pieces that really just added SO much to the overall vibe of my outfit!
I knew I needed some show stopping accessories to add that WOW factor, so this is where I chose to funnel most of my budget for this outfit.
My sparkly Snow White dress purse is from Danielle Nicole Handbags and what I love most about this is that the shape of it was perfect for the era I was channeling. The glitter, size, and details made this the perfect purse for holding my necessities for the day! (Pro tip: While this purse typically costs $72 dollars, I was able to get my AP discount by buying at Disney Springs! Score!)
My parasol, which was the icing on the cake for this bound and really came in handy when keeping the sun off of me in the parks, was also from Unique Vintage! It really just made me feel so fancy and as if I stepped back in time! The pattern of it features apples, crowns, diamonds, and poison apples and could not have been more fitting!
For my shoes, I wanted to comfortable, but still stay true to the style and to Snow's look, so I decided to wear this $5 pair of flats from Walmart. Yes, you read that correctly! HAHA!
Like I said, even though I planned this outfit for months, I also didn't want to break the bank, so it was important to me to save where I could without detracting from the feel of the look. I felt I achieved that the day I put it on and it just made my heart so full to see it come to life the way I envisioned in it my head!
This look would not have been complete without the beautifully retro style that Mychael from Atelier Salon (located in downtown Orlando) did for me! They were kind enough to do this style for me and I couldn't be more grateful for their kindness and generosity! I LOVED my experience I had while at their salon and if you ever need a cut, color, style, or even makeup application, look no further than Atelier. They treat you so well and go above and beyond to make you feel as beautiful as you all are on the inside.
Mychael took so much time to make sure I had the style I wanted and he killed it! It was the cherry on top and I don't think I would've felt as put together and beautiful without it.
(I just want to mention that I was in no way paid or told to say that and all the words above are my genuine feelings. <3)
I wouldn't have these beautiful photos of my look if it wasn't for Alex of Alexandra Royer Photo. She was a total STAR when it came to taking these for me! She has such a true eye and vision for fashion photography and she captured the details and my happiness so well!
All in all, I had the most dazzling day and I loved seeing everyone! Everyone that attended inspired me so much with their creativity and style and I so look forward to Spring Dapper Day!
I've gotta get to brainstorming on what I will do next!
Until next time...
