I was lucky enough to be sent some of the new pieces from the Lilo & Stitch line from Shop Harvey's and with Dylan and I recently moving (like last week. YAY!) to Orlando, I was itching to wear these amazing bags made out of seatbelts inspired by our favorite pair of Hawaiian friends to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort!
Dylan and I had so much fun getting to explore the Poly with all new eyes as locals! We didn't feel rushed, so we were able to take in all the beautiful details, enjoy some Dole Whip, and scope out all the prettiest photo spots (Spoiler: the whole resort is picturesque)! We were also doing all this on the 4th of July, so my outfit couldn't have been more perfectly festive! The day before, I explored a little of College Park in Orlando with my friend Rachel (check her out for lots of outfit inspo and park fun!) who introduced me to a resale shop called Dechoes! What a hidden gem! I scored the floral romper I'm wearing for such a great price! What's really neat about this place is that they carefully curate the pieces they offer to sale! So everything is really unique, lightly worn, and a lot of it comes from designers for a fraction of the price! I was in heaven looking at vintage clothing items and things I knew would make a statement! I even found a vintage Mickey t-shirt while there! (See my 4th of July outfit flat lay to see what it looks like!
When I first saw the romper, I KNEW it would compliment the Lilo Dress purse from Shop Harvey's! The floral is so tropical looking and it even ties in blue which makes me think of Stitch! I paired it with some earthy faux leather wedges, some gold Alex and Ani bangles, and left the purse to speak for itself.
I love the size of this purse and the fact that it doesn't seem like it will be easily ruined or worn from frequent park wear! It fit all my necessities in it with some room to spare so this bag will be in rotation for me and my frequent outings in Orlando and beyond! (I'm feeling a Disney Aulani trip coming on ;))
Even though you can't purchase this exact romper, I thought it was really cool to highlight a store that offers such amazing pieces and showed me just a tiny portion of all the cool places Orlando has to offer outside of Disney. Since you can't get this romper, I've linked some other tropical and summer pieces here, here, and here.
Unfortunately, the Lilo and Stitch line was so popular that Shop Harvey's sold out of these amazing bags very quickly before I had time to get this post up, BUT they have an entire line dedicated to Disney and they come out with Disney inspired bags often, so feel free to check out what they currently have in stock here! If they come back in stock, I will update this post as well as let you all know via Instagram! You can also sign up for Shop Harvey's email notifications here and follow their Instagram here !
I had so much fun shooting at the Poly in this outfit with my "hunk of burning love" Dylan! He always takes my photos and I want to take this time to thank him because I can never say how appreciative I am enough!
Be on the lookout for PART 2 of my day at the Poly featuring another outfit and another bag from this collection!
Until next time, Ohana!
