If you follow me on Instagram, then you know I recently teamed up with Visit Anaheim to take a trip to California for some Disneyland and Anaheim area fun! While I was there, I was hosted by The Hampton Inn Anaheim- Garden Grove! I know most of you are familiar with the magic that Disneyland hotels offer, but I must tell you that you need to consider Hampton Inn Anaheim next time you book a trip to the Anaheim area! I can't thank the team at the hotel for making my trip so so special! Looking at you Joe & Nicole! :) I hope to stay with them again soon! Fingers crossed I can make a fall trip happen! Keep reading for my thoughts!
The first thing you need to know about Hampton Inn Anaheim is that it's part of the Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel program which means you can expect the same great quality and customer service that Disney holds their own resorts to! I knew from the second I stepped in that I was going to be welcomed with open arms! The front desk staff was so welcoming and inviting and had a plethora of suggestions for food and things to do in the area! I loved coming in for our mid-day breaks and at the end of our day to recap with the staff about what we did! They showed such a genuine interest and enthusiasm for our plans and hearing about our days. Their hospitality went such a long way in impressing me and setting them apart of other similar hotels I had stayed at before.
Because this hotel is part of that program, this also means it is in a close vicinity to the Disneyland Resort which meant we were just a short car ride away from the parks! It took us roughly 10 minutes to get to the parks, and thanks to the shuttle that runs by the hotel, we didn't even have to worry about driving! Another added perk to the hotels customer service is the ease in which you can buy park tickets! You can forget about the hassle of buying your tickets at the park gates and waiting in line by opting to buy them from the comfort of the hotel lobby! I loved that this was an option and it really just helps you maximize your time experiencing the magic!
If you're looking for a quiet night in, they've got you covered with a cozy outdoor patio space and pool! You can also enjoy free breakfast every morning, which we took full advantage of, as well as a coffee bar with a few different roasts as well as flavored creamers to choose from! I loved having that included in our stay!
Dylan and I both enjoyed the room we stayed in! It was spacious with plenty of room to get ready for the day and they even had some small Disney touches in the decor! Speaking of space, I loved having a space to do blog work and photo editing thanks to the separate seating area. I was able to spread out with my laptop, camera, and phone and do little things like that on our mid-day breaks. We didn't feel cramped at all and that's always something I look for in a hotel room.
Perhaps one of my favorite things about the room was the coffee station that had the cutest cups! You know I love anything lipstick related, so when I saw these cute little cups with lips on them, I got super excited for morning coffee everyday! They also had cups with mustaches and smiling mouths on them. It's such a small detail, but I think we can all agree the magic is always in the added details!
If you take my advice and consider this hotel for your next Anaheim stay, you can look forward to trying Joe's Italian Ice! It's right next door to the hotel and it was by far one of my favorite things we got to experience! Joe's is a local staple and it was SO GOOD that I'm drooling just thinking about it! It's a wonder why I wasn't there everyday to get a Cherry Bing Joe-latti! Just having this next door is more than enough reason to stay at the Hampton Inn Anaheim-Garden Grove again!
I loved getting to stay here and hope to stay again soon! They really were just a key part in making our trip so memorable and full of magic!
If you do end up booking a stay here, be sure to tell Joe, Nicole, and the rest of the staff that I sent you!!
Until next time!
