It’s no secret that Dylan and I love the Disney Parks. Since moving to Orlando almost 2 years ago now, we have taken full advantage of being able to pop into whichever one we’re in the mood to enjoy for a few hours of fun. Our formula for a date night at the parks is super lax and really just gives us a chance to spend some quality time together. Even if you’re vacationing here, it’s the perfect opportunity to plan out some time, if possible, to spend an evening with your love to enjoy the pure magic of the parks doing a few of your personal favorites together.
I teamed up with Citizen Watch to show how we spend our time at the parks and to give you some inspiration for you next park day with a loved one.
Magic Kingdom is definitely the most romantic park in my eyes and our date nights here usually consist of leisurely strolls down Main Street as is starts to light up at dusk, grabbing a sweet treat to share, perusing the Emporium to see what’s new, and riding one or two of our favorite attractions! The lovely thing is we are never in any rush. <3
Some of Dylan and I’s favorite treats to share are popcorn, Dole Whip with Pineapple Upside Down Cake from Aloha Isle, or just some soft serve from Storybook Treats in Fantasyland!
We got cotton candy on this date thanks to the sweet generosity of Allie and Ray — 2 Cast Members working in the Confectionery! They were so kind to spread a little magic our way!
If we’re talking attractions, Dylan and I usually don’t have fast passes as our dates usually end up being spontaneous ( you can certainly plan more ahead if you’d like!), so our go-to’s are usually the dark rides in Fantasyland since fast passes for those are typically available almost all day. We kinda just pick whatever is available but my favorite is always The Winnie the Pooh ride in Fantasyland. I also always love the teacups, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Big Thunder Mountain if we’re lucky enough to catch a fast pass slot for it!
Perhaps one of my favorite things to do in Magic Kingdom is ride the People Mover during Happily Ever After. I love the view you get while riding and it also keeps you away from the crowds if you’re like me and they tend to make you anxious. This also gives Dylan and I the chance to snuggle up, relax, chat, and watch the show as the People Mover makes its way through Tomorrowland.
Whatever we end up doing in the parks, the most important thing to us is quality time— that’s why Citizen Watch is the perfect timepiece for me when it comes to keeping track of or losing time when I’m with Dylan. Citizen Watch is there for every second of it.
If you’re looking for date night at the Disney Parks outfit inspiration, I often tend to go with pieces that are easy to wear but still very sweet and cute. I love wearing rompers to the parks in fun patterns and then accessorizing with Disney touches like ears, Disney inspired jewelry, a fun bag, and something unexpected like lace bow socks!
I love the whimsical, yet romantic feel of this heart & polkadot romper. It felt very modern Alice to me and I played off that even more with my shoes (VERY comfortable, btw! I’ve worn them in the parks for several hours with no pain at all…) and my dainty socks. It was the perfect mix of fun and flirty and still very comfortable at the same time!
Shop my look:
Ears are available in the Disney Parks, Disney Springs, and Downtown Disney
I hope this gives you some inspo for your next park day with your love! Just remember to soak it all in and have fun!
Until next time…
